COMPANY BIOS
A Family Tradition which began in 1953 with a two pump fuel station and souvenir shop by the Matriarch of the Family, Theresa Lazore Gutherie, affectionately known to many as Theresa Bear. The business evolved from a two pump fuel station, small souvenir shop, boarding house and a snack shop during the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Project to what it is today; an array of family related businesses from Petroleum, Transportation, Food Service, Retail and Lodging. Theresa Bear instilled in her family an ethic of hard work and determination to achieve success. Her strong will and entrepreneurial spirit was inherited from her parents Eli and Violet Lazore and has now passed on to four generations.
Today, Tarbell Management Group supports several family related businesses and owes its success to our team members who have made us successful. We have the ability to deliver a high level of service, strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. We have a family atmosphere that allows us to work well with each other in order to get the job or task done.
